Ernie Shaheen
The center director for MTNW,Ernie has been teaching Music Together® since 1999. A former acting teacher in NYC,he also has vocal music minor along with his BFA. He is married to Elizabeth Browning and they have two children, Elijah,11 and Tatiana,6.
Karen Olshansky
Karen is a graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in theatre. She and her husband Neil have a daughter Hannah whom Karen home schools. Karen originally began her Music Together adventure as a Music Together Mom. She has been teaching Music Together for the past 6 years with great enthusiasm, energy and fun.
Laura D'Amico
Laura is a Fox Lane graduate who completed her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Houghton College. She is currently work toward her Master's degree in voice. Throughout the past five years she has performed in many choirs and operas and is a new member of the Westchester Concert Singers. She is also a voice instructor at a dance and theatre school in New Jersey and is establishing her own private voice studio in Westchester county. Though new to Music Together she has taught and worked with children for several years.
Tamara Acosta
Tamara graduated from both the Cleveland Institute of Music and the New England Conservatory with degrees in vocal performance. She now lives in Katonah with her husband and two young boys. She began her Music Together journey five years ago as a Music Together mom and loved it so much she decided to share that joy with others.
Lori Siegel
Lori has taught in early childhood education for the past 17 years.She's a singer and guitarist who also has a background in children's theatre and as a clown.
Susan Cody
Susan has spent her life singing and playing music. She studied Music Education at Ithaca College and has been a full time private music teacher for many years teaching piano, voice and flute. "What's That Sound" is a series of classes she created about the elements of music. Currently, she also is the Music Director for the Children's Theater Company of Peekskill. She and her husband Tom share both home and studio and spend as much time as possible with her nine grandchildren.
